My botanical lampshades can be purchased separately or on Woodbury Pewter lamp bases. Scroll down to view all lampshades.

All my shades are handcrafted. The background fabric is muslin with a styrene backing. I design my flower arrangements on the panels and then cover with a fabric similar to rice paper. The flowers shown on these lampshades are mostly Blue Delphinium, Pink Larkspur, Green ferns or softer green Wormwood and mixed with either Blue Lobelia or Queen Anne’s lace. Because each shade is handcrafted, the flowers and colors may vary slightly from sample shades shown but will compliment the chosen ribbon color. The flowers show thru attractively even when the lamp is turned off and come alive when the lamp is turned on.

A diagram is available to assist you in measuring for the correct shade. You may also e-mail me if you need assistance in ordering. All shades are available in green, mauve, muslin and blue ribbon.

Clip Top. Measures 5" top, 8" bottom and 6" sides. Small pewter base measures 10 1/2" from bottom of base to top of socket. Bottom of base measures 5" wide. Complete height is 14".

Suggestions for care of lampshades:

For best results in preventing fading I suggest that the 8”& 10” shades should be used with a 40 watt bulb and the larger sizes a 60 watt. All pressed flowers will eventually fade but the change is very subtle and still looks attractive, usually it is the greens that turn first and they take on the earth tones. I have shades in my home that are over 18 years old they still have retained plenty of color and still get me compliments from visitors, A gentle wipe with a slightly damp cloth will keep the shade clean , do not rub as you may damage the fabric covering the flowers . Also as you would with any thing you do not wish to fade keep your lampshade out of strong sunlight.
