Ronnie Glimmer (Hard rive) has taken over the position as the North East regional officer.
NH State mascot
Hi, I am Cruiser the NH state mascot. Please read my rules for adopting me and come get me. I really like to travel and ride on bikes.
NH Mascot rules
The chapter in possession of the NH mascot must bring it on all chapter rides and events until such time as it is taken by another chapter. If the NH mascot was taken as a state, it must be brought to all rides or events in that state that the states SOT attends.
A chapter must have 5 members present to take the mascot from another chapter.
If the mascot is to be taken as a state, the SOT of that state together with 4 or more members from that state are required to take the mascot.
The mascot can only be taken from the chapter or state in possession of the mascot at a ride or event put on by that chapter or state.
The mascot must be turned over to the NH SOT at the NH state rally, and may not be taken until after the rally is over.
If the mascot is taken by an out of state chapter, it can be taken back at any of that states rides or events by either a NH chapter with 5 or more members in attendance or by the NH SOT with 4 other NH members.
The NH mascot’s location must be posted on the NH state forum with in 48 hrs of being taken.
The chapter in possession of the NH state mascot must post all of their chapter rides and events on the NH state forum until the mascot is taken from them.
Taking of the NH mascot means you agree to these conditions.
2009 Winter meet & Greet
On Sunday Jan 25th many of the NH Southern Cruisers spent some time catching up and general gabbing about both the past as well as the upcoming season. Use the link below to see some of ShutterBugs pics from the day.
4th Annual SCRC New Hampshire State Rally 2008
The 2008 NH state rally is not in the books. This year we had great weather for the whole weekend. Friday started out with folks riding out for dinner at several of the local resturants. Followed with the campfire social. Saturday we awoke to a beautiful day. Steve lead a nice ride out Saturday morning for a few hours and returned for our famous BBQ lunch. After lunch we headed out for the race track (NHMS) where we found the NH state police waiting for us. No we were not in trouble, Maureen had arranged a demonstration of the motor corps riding skills. Following the demo we headed out onto the NASCAR track for a few laps. The best part was this year we did not have the pace car as in 2007. After a stop for ice cream on the way back to the campsite it was back to the campfire social. Sunday AM we again had great weather to send our guests on their way home.
2008 was the best year yet for NH and St Jude. the 2008 total donated was $1100
Well the 2007 NH state rally is now over. Friday started out with great
weather but it ended a bit soggy, but even with some damp (ok drenched) riders
returning from the dinner ride everyone had a great time and spent the evening
around the campfire drying out before calling it a night. Saturday morning
started with a pancake breakfast with followed with a nice 4 hr ride out to the
sea coast. The riders returned just in time for the beer can chicken and pulled pork for dinner.
After dinner we held the door prize raffle followed by a little suprise. Great
Bay's 1st officer Paul had been working on this for almost a year. He had
arranged for all of our riders to take a few laps on NHIS's Nascar oval. We were
lead around for a total of 4 laps. Thank you Paul!!! I think all those
who attended will agree we had a great time and are looking forward to next
year.
Well the 2006 NH state rally is now over. After a small amount of rain
Friday evening the weather cleared nicely for the remainder of the rally with
only a brief shower Saturday evening. Saturday morning started with a pancake
breakfast with burgers and dogs for lunch then a ice cream ride, followed by
beer can chicken and pulled pork for dinner. I think all those
who attended will agree we had a great time and are looking forward to next
year.
Rockland chapter has a new 1st officer. Joan Wamsley has taken over for Terry Woolbert as 1st officer of the Rockland NH chapter. Thank you Terry, & congrats Joan.
The 2005 National
Rally is now in the history books. The Southern Cruisers donated over $100,000
to St Jude children's hospital this year. All chapters and states who helped to
raise money received a plaque to thank them. Below is a pic of the one NH was
given for the donation we made as a result of our 2005 NH state rally. I would
like to thank all those who made this possible. I was an honor to represent all
the NH members at the national rally. We also had a chance to tour St Jude's
children's hospital during the event and I can tell you they really do put the
money we raise to a good cause. This year there was a song that was written for
us and what we do for the kids at St Jude's.

Well the 2005 NH state rally is now in the record books. We had great
weather for our first state rally as well as some great food. I think all those
who attended will agree we had a great time and are looking forward to next
year.
