The Epsom Fire and Rescue is a combination full-time/call department serving the town of Epsom, NH population 4800. We operate out of one station and provide fire and ambulance protection.
The Epsom Fire Department is involved with the Capital Area Compact for mutual aid and paramedic intercepts.
We have 4 full-time personnel, a Captain/Paramedic and 3 FF/EMTs. The station is staffed 0000-1800hrs Monday-Thursday, 0600-1800hrs Friday and Saturday with both firefighting and ALS coverage. Sundays are covered by part-time staff from 0800-1700hrs
We have about 25 on-call personnel, with a mixture of fire and EMS providers. We responded to 995 calls for service in 2007.
Fire permits are required to burn brush(unless the ground is covered with snow). They can be obtained at the Epsom Fire Station between the hours of 8am - 5pm. Burning hours are from 5pm - 9am. Please do not leave any fires unattended.
