It is a wonderfully exciting time to be celebrated.

Knowing that the birthing process is an extremely special and important event in your life. My goal as your Doula is to guide you through this process. Please know I will do all I can to help your predetermined goals, wishes and objectives happen so you can have the birth and postpartum experience YOU desire.

What is a Birth Doula?

A birth doula is experienced and trained in childbirth. She provides the laboring mother with continuous support and encouragement during labor. She does not replace the partner, but rather enhances, supports and guides the couple through labor. A doula does not give medical exams or medical advice.

What is a Postpartum Doula?

A postpartum doula specializes in nurturing the family after their child is born. She provides in-home care for the new family. Most often helping with rest for Mom and Dad, breast or bottle feedings, light household tasks, education or referrals, meal preparation, sibling and newborn care.
