poncho design! We asked for your
feedback, and we listened! The new poncho is a bit more casual, trendier,
more flattering, and warmer! It is still made from top quality Malden Mills
fleece, but we are using a more technical fabric that blocks the wind almost
completely and is extremely water repellant. It breathes as well as ordinary
polar fleece but is a bit lighter and drapes even better. This wonderful
fabric is available only in black. If you would prefer your poncho in a
color, you may choose from any 200 weight Malden Mills color.
I had so much fun designing this. I got to break out my geometry, algebra,
and even trigonometry to get the angles and details just right. The new
poncho design has both an innovative adjustable neckline and a snap-down opening
in the front to snugly accommodate carrying baby on the front, hip, or back at
a variety of heights. The new design comes with durable metal snaps that
allow the coat to be opened completely and removed quietly and without waking
a sleeping baby. No more pulling over the head! And, as always, it
looks great both with and without baby underneath. Snaps at wrists can
be left open or closed for extra warmth.
