This is a small area near my walkway.
It was an idle area in front
of a dead stump.
I put rocks on the border, planted some chicken and
hens and they are
doing fine. They are so pretty when they flower.
Nature can make
a dead area come alive....... you just need a little
imagination.
If you could have seen my yard when I bought this
property.... I saw
it in the winter.... snow on the ground. I thought
for sure I had grass
under the snow. I never thought to ask and they
never told me.
No flower beds - nothing. I tried the wild flowers in
the front yard but
year after year it displayed less and less. So through
the years, I have
planted various beds and had grass planted. Now
I get compliments
on how much I have improved the yard. At one time
this log cabin was
imbedded in woods. Now it has a "happy" life.
