NEI: You are the owner and booker of the now defunct Primal Conflict Wrestling. Take some of the fans, who may not be familiar, back to the early times of PCW and how things began for you. SSS (Studley Steve Stallion): First off ham and egger, Primal is NEVER defunct, it is like a bad case of herpes that keeps coming back. But for those of you that have been living under a rock, I will tell you a little about what Primal is all about. Primal was a vision I had back in 1999. It was designed by me to be the next ECW. We had stars like Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, Eliminator Kronus, Bilvis Wesley, and New Jack as well as the best up and coming hardcore stars available like Nemesis, Ruckus, Zbarr the superstar, Jaimie Pain, Gino Martino, Ali Mohammed and many others. The Primal brotherhood only asked for 1 thing, 100% dedication to the Primal fans. Our first show was done on March 3rd 2000 at the now closed Club Starzz. During this show we defeated the NEWA in a best of 3 series to win bragging rights in the state of Rhode Island as well as crowning Diamond Dave Donovan as our first World Champion. NEI: You stated that all that was asked of the workers was "100% dedication to the Primal fans." Do you think you got that 100% from your locker room? SSS: Absofn'loutely! The Primal boys were the best group of sick bastards Indy wrestling has ever seen. They were and are willing to do whatever it takes to get themselves and the show over. No matter what anyone says about Primal, there was never a show that people didn't leave saying "Damn that was the sickest shit I have ever seen." We have done it all in Hardcore, from fire to tacks and with the biggest names New England had ever seen. NEI: Of you locker room, is their any particular workers that you would publicly thank for giving that little bit extra? SSS: Yes, Nemesis who dropped his last once of blood for this company, Jaimie Pain who mutilated himself for this company, Jose Perez who gave the rest of his hair for this company, Ali Mohammed and Gino Martino who, no matter where they worked, always remained Primal. Vertabreaker who ate, shit, and drank PCW. Zbarr and Ruckus who traveled all the way from Jersey to be Primal. Cueball who worked his ass off literally and if I am forgetting anyone else, Oh well, but those are the names who I saw as my boys. On the girl side, there is only one woman who was and is the true queen of violence and that is Casey Straytor, who took a super powerbomb from the Pitbulls and never once complained about anything! But, there were also a bunch of Primal Bitches, who bitched and moaned worse than a grandma' on the rag. NEI: Casey Straytor was accused of being the source of locker room drama by the participants of the "Primal Shoot." What is your take on that? SSS: Well, I always said personal shit should stay personal, but the problem was that the "Boys" were so passionate about their gimmicks and the show that it was impossible to separate the 2. So the locker room was sometimes more of a source of heat than the shows, but I could not do anything about that. Casey always gave her all for Primal no matter what she had to do and that is why she is the Primal Queen.
SSS: Listen, Dallas Austin was the absolute shits, but Tiger Khan was one of the best lightweights Primal had ever seen. Austin or George took the Khan gimmick and ran with it and for that I respect him, but he always was a little bitch when it came to politics and, to tell you the truth, I could give a shit. That is why I killed off his gimmick at Back n' Jack. Khan will never again wrestle in Primal. George needs to hide behind a mask because he has a self-esteem issue. NEI: Khan was only one half of the "Primal Shoot" and he didn't speak alone. What about Vertebreaker and his statements? SSS: Verte' and I go back a long way outside this biz. I remember when I used to wrestle for Yankee Pro and Verte' was only a pre pubescent little boy. I have tremendous respect for Verte' as a worker, but at times he can also be a little bitch. I pushed the shit out of Verte' and the thanks I got was just what he said in your interview, but no one could take it to the limit like the Vertabreaker. Verte' is and always will be one of the sickest Primal boys there has ever been, but comparing Verte' to Khan is like comparing Hardcore wrestling to figure skating. Vertabreaker is upset because he wasn't told the show was canceled, and that I can understand, but he will always be Primal. Khan had no right to say anything about Primal because he was only there because I let him. NEI: What would you specifically state to each of these men today? SSS: To Verte', I would say Primal's foundation was made up of a cornerstone known as the Vertebreaker. To Tiger "George" Khan, I would say, don't let the door hit you in the ass and do not sit by the phone waiting for SSS to call you! You have a better shot of joining the WWE. Nuff said! NEI: Would you make these same statements regarding Khan had he not made the statements that he made? SSS: Hard to say, but your interview really brought things into perspective for me and I realized who the ungrateful truly are in PCfnW and I think I have wasted enough time talking about them. I have said what I had to say and there is nothing else to say about them. NEI: Lets address some of the statements made in "The Shoot." You were accused of creating unnecessary and false hype for PCW. How would you respond? SSS: Creating Hype? I didn't have to create anything, PCfnW had enough hype on it's own. We drew no matter where we went and I think that is what pissed people off the most. People were totally sick and tired of regular bubblegum wrestling and were embarrassed. PCfnW's hardcore atmosphere and all of the feuds were real and heat remained in the ring long after the last bell rang. I mean give me an example of creating hype.
NEI: The biggest complaint was regarding the multiple closings of PCW. It was stated that the closings were often for fabricated reasons and the truth was as simple as you not wanting to do PCW anymore. SSS: This is bullshit! Every closing happened for real reasons except the last one and you are right, that was simply because SSS had had enough. NEI: For the record, how many closings were there and what were the real reasons? SSS: That is none of your business but I will tell you, there were no lawsuits. It was only because the October 4th show took so much out of me that I needed a break, but like I told you when we started this interview ham and egger, Primal will never die it keeps coming back like a bad case of jock itch. Even now, Primal is planning something that will rock the Indy scene once again and people will become scared as always and try to talk shit about us but we all know the truth... ALL FEAR PRIMAL! NEI: When you say that the reasons are none of my or the fans business, that doesn't do allot to dispel the accusation of Vertebreaker and Khan. If anything, your statement strengthens their claim that your closings were all due to your own personal choices. SSS: Who cares, you may not realize who you are talking to! I am SSS and I'm used to people talking shit about me. I could give 2 shits what anyone says, I know the reasons, my workers deep down know the real reasons, and as far as you and the fans, go keep thinking what you want. There will always be a question about everything that I have done and will do in the future, that's what makes us Primal. SSS: Before you ask SSS another question, let SSS ask you a question. Everyone knows that if nothing else Primal Conflict was original. NEI: I wouldn't dispute that statement. SSS: You call yourself the New England Informer. Well, dedicated PCW fans Evil Ed and Chopper have had a site for much longer called the New England Informer. Can't you be original? NEI: We are not the New England Informer. SSS: Well then WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? NEI: 1.) You don't even know who is interviewing you. We are The New England Independent, the premiere Wrestling website for the New England wrestling community. I think the differing ratios on our sites counters demonstrate that. We had no knowledge of Ed and Choppers site until someone pointed it out to us months after our startup. 2.) We are the site that attempted to contact PCW regarding the cancellation of their last show so that we could respond to the numerous fans that were asking us about it. We apparently never got an answer and neither did the PCW fans. SSS: It doesn't matter what the fans heard. In closing, I just want to say that any fan that comes to a Primal show will be guaranteed one thing and that is an original product which you and your website know nothing about. I think you have wasted enough of my time so this interview is over ham and egger.
