Changes concerning registering snowmobiles in New Hampshire have been passed into law effective July 1, 2002.  The changes are as follows:
 
In order to register your snowmobile, you must:
 
1). Join an organized NH non-profit Snowmobile club, which is a member of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA), and the NHSA.  
 
Single and Family Memberships are available. The benefit of a family membership, which covers a spouse and all children under the age of 16, is that the member is allowed to register more than one snowmobile with one c1ub membership fee.
 
 A  membership card will be filled out after a person joins a club, will be mailed to the member and must be presented to the registration agent to register your snowmobile.
 
Present your PMSC membership card to the registration agent and pay the registration fee.
 
A Powder Mill Snowmobile Club membership Application is below to assist you if you choose this option.  Print or copy & paste it into your word processor, print; then mail to the address included.

2). Pay a $30 Club Assistance Program (CAP) fee for each machine to be registered to a registration agent.
 
 Of the $30,  $29 goes directly into the Grant-In-Aid Fund to be used to support the snowmobile trails.
 
Pay the registration fee to the registration agent.
 
 
Note that the cost to join a Snowmobile Club or the CAP fee are in addition to the snowmobile registration cost.
 
If  you choose to join our club, simply print, complete and mail the application below.

By selecting one of the above membership types, PMSC will return to you a membership card which should be used to register your snowmobile(s).  The above membership fee includes New Hampshire Snowmobile Association dues (mandatory).  A copy of SnoTraveler magazine will be included with your NHSA membership.  The only additional cost is the State of NH registration fee required for each machine.  If you are a member of NHSA through another club, please send along a copy of your NHSA card, then $10 for NHSA will be waived.
