Turning two is very exciting, can't you tell by the expression on my face?  (hee, hee)

Can you believe our Ben is now two?  He has continued to defeat the odds and we are so happy about that.  Instead of the great big party this year we opted for a more low key day with only a few close family friends.  We were just grateful that he was here instead of in the hospital for this special day.  We had a yummy brunch and topped it off with a delicious homemade carrot cake, one for Ben and a slightly larger one for the crowd.  Below are some more pictures from Ben's special day.

We have a tradition in our family where we take a bite out of our birthday cake.  Ben was no exception.
