>A census was taken in Chaleur Bay in 1760 which lists the widow Paul
>Richard at the head of a family of seven members. The Charles Richard to
>whom you refer belonged to this family, although at the time he was only
>about nine years old and consequently was not listed on his own. The census
>was transcribed and published, along with other documents, by Régis Brun,
>in the 27th Cahier of the Société historique acadienne in 1970. The widow
>Richard appears on page 267 in this publication.
