23 January 2010 Lots of fun things this New Year...I turned the big 4-0...Brendon and Lauren started their annual snowboarding trips to Gunstock every Friday (in January and 2 in March), Dad turned 60... we're off to a great year and look forward to our upcoming trip to Florida in April to see family and Mickey!!
26 December 2009 Merry Christmas!
29 November 2009 Happy Thanksgiving!
19 November 2009 Willy Wonka Jr this Friday and Saturday night. Lauren is an Oompa Loompa - this performance is with Studio 109 who happens to be doing the same play as her school!! She got a lead part in the High School musical at school as well! She will play Jo Jo in Seussical. She is very excited...rehearsals start in January and I think she has most of her lines memorized!! Brendon is doing well - came to St. Thomas for a visit. He was hosted by a nice young man who gave him a tour of the campus and brought him to his classes. We have Open House this Sunday. Happy Thanksgiving Wishes! 9 November 2009 Fall is racing by...soccer and fall baseball are over. Brendon played very well in both...playing striker for Tri-City Christian Academy Sub-Varsity Soccer. He's got a little break before snowboarding starts!! He's going thru the Admissions process at St. Thomas (my school) and is excited to hopefully go there next year. Lauren recently finished up Willy Wonka Jr at Tri-City Christian Academy and is now involved in the same play with her dance studio!! Her school (Tri-City) will perform is again at the Rochester Opera House in February. She is very busy with dance...getting ready for competition. She's involved in a jazz duet, petite jazz group, a large group pom routine (cheering/dancing), and a junior tap ensemble. She also takes ballet technique. Lauren and I are in a Christmas Musical A Baby Changes Everything. Rehearing 3 nights a week!! I love singing again!

21 September 2009 Some pictures to start the fall season...
3 August 2009 Hard to believe August is already here! The kids have been busy. While All-Stars is over, fall baseball will begin soon. Brendon will be 'graduating' to the next level where he can use a 'big barrel bat' and will pitch from 60' 6" , up from 50'! He is quite excited. Lauren just completed Dance Camp - loved it! Is in Drama Camp this week where she will play a part in a little play Madeline. She too will 'graduate' from a Performance Troupe MINI to a PETITE dancer. She will take hip hop, jazz tap, jazz and tap, plus try a duet with a friend of hers. Should be a busy year!
25 July 2009 All done! The boys played well. Brendon came in to pitch during a big jam in the 2nd inning (Amherst up by 7 at the end of two). Brendon had 3 hits and a walk - all very timely - scoring the tying run and keeping the last inning alive! - an outstanding game. Final 10 to 9 (Amherst) 23 July 2009 Another win means we're moving on! Friday night 8pm is the next game. Brendon had 2 walks and a double tonight (one of very few hits actually). 3 to 2 final. 21 July 2009 Game postponed to Thursday (tonight's games were postponed pushing the RABB game back a day) 19 July 2009 Win! 6 to 4 - Brendon pitched the whole game (6 innings). Only gave up 2 earned runs! Next game Wednesday at 5pm in Dover. 19 July 2009 Lost against Hollis. We play tonight at 8pm (another night game!) from the losers bracket. Wish us luck! Brendon should be on the mound today! 17 July 2009 Rochester Roger Allen All-Stars win! 5 to 3 (against Swanzey). Brendon hit 2 doubles and a single (3 for 3) and came in when the score was 5 to 3, 2 out bases loaded in the last inning (nailbiter). No problem for our Papelbon!! Next game Saturday July 18th 8:00pm vs Hollis. Go Brendon! 15 July 2009 Wow - time flies when you are having fun!! We've been busy this summer. We've been camping 3 times in the new pop-up. Had a blast each time! This past weekend we celebrated mom and dad's 40th wedding anniversary and enjoyed time with family who came up from Florida! While we wished ALL of our family from FLA could have been up, we were so happy to spend time with the ones who could. Storyland, seafood, shopping oh my! Brendon plays in the District All-Star tourney this weekend - with his first game Friday at 8pm under the lights.
Lauren is taking a tap dancing technique class this summer and will be going to dance camp and drama camp in a couple of weeks!
1 June 2009 Lauren's Spring Choral Concert photos - patriotic theme! She really enjoyed doing the polka with a "friend". Her and this friend were actually quite good!! Sang Gettysburg Address. Annie is now over...2 encore shows at the Rochester Opera House...spectacular!

26 April 2009 Some recent fun at the Albacore Submarine, exploring at Moody Beach in Maine, and cheering at a Fisher Cats Baseball Game (90 degree heat!!) April vacation is over and the race to summer is on.
19 April 2009 Baseball season is underway. Brendon received a plaque for his last year in Roger Allen Baseball (given to all 12 year olds). He had a great game yesterday winning 14 to 7 I think. He went 3 for 4 at the plate starting the the season and the game in the lead-off position and nailing a double to left field. He pitched into 3 innings giving up 3 earned runs. Looking forward to a fun season!
13 April 2009 Happy Easter! Happy Spring! The auction was a tremendous success - more than anyone imagined! Thank you for the prayers!! They worked! We're excited baseball season has started...the boys are practicing away - season opens on Saturday. Lauren is focused on dance. Annie was a great time for her. They did 9 shows! They were asked by an influencial audience member to perform at the Rochester Opera House on May 29 and 30...so the show goes on the road!!
8 March 2009 Our tiny dancer had her first competition this weekend, and while her studio was actually participating to win for charity, a number of awards were handed out. Her solo "Walking On Sunshine" earned her a high gold, and her group number "Down at Fenway Park" won a platinum award (and first overall in their group age level). She also received the most points in her division for her solo honoring her with a HUGE trophy! Was she elated! We are very proud of her today. These photos were before and after the competition (no cameras allowed during) Happy Birthday Susan, Pa and Mimi (11th) Annie opens March 19!!
23 February 2009 February vacation is here! We kicked the week off this past weekend with a game of musical rooms! Brendon realized he would like a more 'private' space and took over the finished basement room (down from the 2nd floor). Lauren went to Brendon's room and the Guest Room (located in the finished basement) went up to Lauren's old room. Confused??? We weren't confused as much as we were SORE and exhausted. The dust has almost settled and the house is beginning to look habitable again. Lauren is preparing for dance comp in a couple of weeks. Some photos of her 'dress rehearsal'. Her solo looks awesome - I am so proud of her. The group number is Down at Fenway Park and her solo is Walking on Sunshine.

13 December 2008 Check out our ice storm photos! (link to the left) 30 November 2008 Where does the time go?? Much going on as usual! The Christmas musical Lauren and I are in is almost ready to perform (December 12, 13) - Come see A Time For Christmas!! We had a great Thanksgiving at Rachel and Leigh's house. Lots of fun to see Spencer in action! Today, we marched in the Dover parade with Tri-City Christian Academy...a bunch of parents got together and created our float "Lighten Up...It's Christmas". I danced and sang a song for A Time For Christmas (fun way to promote!!) More parades next weekend. Lauren's Christmas Concert is Thursday this week. FUN FUN!! More parades next weekend...Oh Happy Days!!
1 November 2008 Happy November! The Road Rally we organized with Ma and Pa was a great success! What a fun day! Congrats to the "Four Decades" in their victory! Soccer is finished. Lauren's team improved, but did not win a game...many close ones though!! Brendon's team on the other hand went undefeated. Lauren and I are performing in a Christmas musical at TCCA - A Time For Christmas. We are rehearsing 2-3 times each week - what a hoot. She also auditioned for the high school musical Annie (in March) and will play a small part (depending on her dance competitions). Todd and I are gearing up for the Auction again...our third year chairing this event!! YIKES! Best to all of you!
13 October 2008 Just returned from camping at Chocoruha Village Campground. We had a great time. The weather was absolutely gorgeous!! We came home Saturday for soccer and musical rehearsal in the morning. Returned to the campground for an ice cream social and trick or treating. We squeezed in a little fishing as our site was right on the Chocoruha River. Caught some perch and pickeral. Sunday we climbed to Arethusa Falls...the foliage was beautiful! Back at the campground we enjoyed a haunted hayride! We were sad to pack up for the season.
