Home SPLIT ROCK COTTAGE OWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING
The meeting was called to order on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
In Attendance: Pat Schoeller, Karen Weaver, Linda Mayes, Steve Plavin, and Wade Brosius.
1. Minutes from last meeting were reviewed and approved as written.
2. Financial Report: No report.
3. Membership Committee: Pat Schoeller reported that there are currently 244 paid members.
4. Sunshine Committee: A thank you note was received from George Eherts for the donation to the Rescue Squad on behalf of his wife, Barbara.
5. Adopt-A-Street: No report.
6. Liaison Committee: No meeting to report.
7. Social/Activities Committee Report: The Halloween Party will be held today after the meeting at 11:30am. There will be Hayrides at 1:30 (in the snow) and tickets are available for the water park at a discounted price of $18/ticket for cottage owners.
8. Old Business: It will be discussed at the next liaison meeting in the spring about handing over the $2,000.00 check budgeted for the playground equipment.
9. New Business:
a) It would be appreciated if all members of the SRCOA Board would extend the courtesy of responding to emails with a Yes or a No when asked if they will be attending a scheduled Board Meeting.
b) The Christmas holiday party will be held Saturday, December 26th in the Harmony Room beginning at 6:00pm with 2 drink tickets per adult. A buffet dinner will be served between 7:00pm and 8:30pm. The party will be hosted by Steve Plavin and will be free to SRCOA members.
c) The 2010 Activities event list has been updated and enclosed.
d) Beginning with this SRCOA News, it will now be published by Maureen Scheuerman.
The next Board Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 9:00am.
